The Digital Education Council AI in Higher Education LATAM Survey 2026 report provides an evidence-based perspective on how generative AI is shaping learning behaviours, academic engagement, and institution practice across the region.

This survey has gathered over 30,000 responses from 29 higher education institutions across Latin America.

Delivered in partnership with the Institute for the Future of Education and Tecnológico de Monterrey, a founding member of the Council; survey outreach and distribution were greatly supported by AI Global Education Network (AIGEN) and the Educational Innovation Network (RIE360).
