About the Center of Excellence

The Center of Excellence for AI in Teaching and Learning brings together the Digital Education Council, Columbia Engineering, and Columbia Center for Teaching and Learning to advance how higher education responds to AI in teaching and learning.

The Center will provide a focal point for AI in teaching and learning, while connecting regional expertise with DEC's global higher education network. Its work will draw on research and educational practice to support institutions as they navigate the evolving role of AI in teaching and learning.

Through research, professional learning and convenings, the Center will contribute practical insights and opportunities for exchange that can inform institutional practice across North America and globally.
