For the purposes of compliance with the EU's GDPR legislation, this is a list of subprocessors of data for courses provided by the Digital Education Council.
The Controller has authorised the use of the following sub-processors:
1. Name: Thinkific Industrial Inc.
Address: 400 - 369 Terminal Ave, Vancouver, BC V6A 4C4, Canada
Description of processing: Cloud-based Learning Management System (LMS) platform provision, course delivery, and user management.
2. Name: Amazon Web Services (AWS) (via Thinkific)
Address: 410 Terry Avenue North, Seattle, WA 98109, USA
Description of processing: Primary cloud infrastructure and data hosting for the LMS platform.
3. Name: WooNinja Software
Address: 4 Edgevale Rd, Hamilton, ON, Canada
Description of processing: Provides a cloud-based Single Sign-On (SSO) connector that bridges third-party identity providers with learning management systems. This includes processing learner identity data (such as name and email address) for the purposes of authentication, course enrollment, and group assignment. Data is hosted on Heroku or Hetzner infrastructure, with our server located in the EU.
